To preserve water catchment areas and prevent soil erosion along riverbanks, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management and local environmental communities organized a tree planting initiative in Sleman, DI Yogyakarta.

A total of 1,500 bamboo and conservation tree seedlings were planted along vital riparian corridors, strengthening riverbank soil stability and revitalizing local freshwater ecosystems.

Local youth groups, university volunteers, and community members actively participated in the planting and committed to monitoring seedling survival rates.

This program supports SDG 13: Climate Action and SDG 15: Life on Land, fostering collaborative ecological preservation and watershed protection.
