GEMPITA Ramadan Delivers Iftar Meal Packages to Sekolah Kita Rumpin
Fifty children and community members at a free alternative school in Rumpin, Bogor, received iftar meal packages through YIIM and Insight's Ramadan outreach.
On Thursday, March 13, 2025, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management continued the GEMPITA Ramadan program by distributing iftar packages to children and families at Sekolah Kita Rumpin.
Sekolah Kita Rumpin is a free community alternative school serving children in remote Kampung Cibitung, Rumpin District, Bogor Regency. The school serves students aged 7 to 17, guided by three dedicated volunteer teachers without charging any tuition fees.
A total of 50 iftar meals were distributed to students and nearby villagers. Following the handover, the children, teachers, volunteers, and program representatives broke their fast together in a joyful communal meal.
This program not only provides wholesome iftar nourishment but also extends heartfelt appreciation to the volunteer educators dedicated to teaching children in remote areas.
This initiative contributes to SDG 2: Zero Hunger and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.
