Ramadan assistance for students at Fajar Cendekia Pesantren in Bekasi

On Saturday, 23 March 2024, the Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management carried out the GEMPITA Ramadan sharing program at Pondok Pesantren Fajar Cendekia, located in Jatimurni, Pondok Melati, Bekasi City, West Java.

The program delivered 70 takjil packages and boxed iftar meals, basic food supplies consisting of premium rice, cooking oil, granulated sugar, flour, and eggs, along with financial living assistance for 60 orphan and underprivileged students (santri) undergoing education at the boarding school.

Pondok Pesantren Fajar Cendekia currently educates around 60 students free of charge, guiding them through Qur’anic memorization, Islamic studies, and general academic schooling. Due to limited facilities, the school relies heavily on community solidarity and humanitarian partnerships to sustain daily operations.

Ustadz Abdul Fattah, head of the boarding school, conveyed heartfelt gratitude to YIIM and Insight for their ongoing support, noting that the aid lifted a major logistical burden for the school during Ramadan and brought happiness to the students.

This initiative is part of YIIM’s Humanitarian and Social Assistance program, supporting SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Inspiration Greetings!
