Moral development and character-building education nurtured through community religious institutions play an essential role in fostering national harmony, tolerance, and unity within Indonesia’s diverse society.

Demonstrating an inclusive humanitarian approach toward multi-faith character education, the Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun / YIIM) delivered an educational facility assistance grant to Pasraman Pura Agung Taman Sari in Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta, on Sunday, 17 November 2019.

The assistance was handed over by YIIM representatives to Pasraman administrators in the presence of elementary and secondary students as well as local community elders. The support package comprised classroom furniture, carpeting, book storage cabinets, and audio systems for traditional cultural and educational rehearsals.

Through this contribution, YIIM aims to provide a more comfortable and inspiring learning atmosphere for young learners pursuing character education, traditional arts, and cultural values.

This program supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
