Peresmian Gedung Perpustakaan SDN 01 Curah Takir, Jember oleh YIIM, Insght dan PTPN XII Tanggal 10 Januari 2020

Cultivating literacy and providing child-friendly learning infrastructure in rural communities represent the most impactful investments in expanding knowledge horizons and fostering critical thinking for future generations.

Following the completion of construction initiated in November 2019, the Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun / YIIM), in collaboration with PT Insight Investments Management and PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (PTPN XII), officially held the Grand Inauguration and Handover of the SDN 01 Curahtakir Library Building in Tempurejo District, Jember Regency, East Java, on Friday, 10 January 2020.

The newly inaugurated library is outfitted with hundreds of curated fiction and educational non-fiction books, ergonomic reading furniture, modular shelving, cozy carpeted reading nooks, and vibrant educational artwork. The ceremony featured a joint ribbon-cutting and plaque signing by leadership from Insight, PTPN XII, and YIIM, enthusiastically welcomed by students, teachers, and local families.

This library project stands as an outstanding model of multi-stakeholder CSR synergy, democratizing quality literacy resources for children of plantation workers and rural communities across East Java.

This initiative directly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Inspiration Greetings!
