Coffee business equipment assistance for Pila Pili Kopi

The Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management awarded a business starter grant of commercial coffee equipment to an outstanding alumnus of YIIM’s Barista Vocational Training program.

The grant supported the official launch of ‘Pila Pili Kopi’, an independent mobile coffee cart and cafe venture established by the graduate in East Jakarta. The assistance included a commercial espresso machine, precision coffee grinder, manual brew drippers, stainless steel milk jugs, weighing scales, and premium single-origin coffee beans.

Following comprehensive barista training and post-training entrepreneurship mentoring from YIIM, the recipient successfully applied technical brewing precision, beverage recipe development, and customer service skills to build a thriving micro-business.

This equipment assistance is part of YIIM’s end-to-end empowerment model, ensuring that vocational training graduates receive the necessary productive assets and business incubation to establish sustainable livelihoods.

This initiative contributes to SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Inspiration Greetings!
