The Indonesia Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Pertamina Training and Consulting are always committed to supporting strengthening community independence through a series of inclusive and sustainable empowerment initiatives.
, JAKARTA – Creating independent entrepreneurs, PT Pertamina Training and Consulting (PTC) together with the Indonesia Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) distributed business equipment assistance to training alumni.
Among them are alumni of Coffee Barista training, Frozen Food Culinary and hydroponic organic vegetable cultivation.
The handover of this aid was the culmination of training held by PTC and YIIM from 27 August 2021 to 1 October 2021, both online and offline with a total of 124 participants.
These include 62 coffee barista training participants, 45 frozen food training participants and 17 hydroponic training participants. Symbolically, grant assistance for business capital equipment was given to 18 participants at the PT Pertamina Training and Consulting Office, Petojo Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta on Wednesday (8/12/2021).
They were given assistance in the form of six packages of frozen food business capital equipment, including freezers, vacuum food sealers, expiration code machines, blenders and stoves.
Furthermore, four assistance packages provide capital equipment for coffee barista businesses.
Then, eight aid packages provided with tools for hydroponic farming, including five packages of paralon installations, water pumps, buckets, netpots, PH meters, TDS meters, rockwool, nutrients and vegetable seeds.
The Main Director of PT Pertamina Training and Consulting, Teuku Mirasfi, said that the beneficiaries are underprivileged people, housewives, people with disabilities and workers who have been laid off. “This event is part of a series of PT Pertamina Training and Consulting’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) events by providing social entrepreneurship training. As the closing of the program we provide grant assistance for frozen food, coffee barista and hydroponic business capital equipment,” said Teuku Mirasfi. “We hope that this assistance can be utilized as well as possible for the benefit of developing entrepreneurship and helping all friends in strengthening the family economy amidst difficult economic conditions due to the pandemic,” he explained. The same thing was conveyed by Dian Hapsari Firasati, as Acting. VP CSR SMEPP PT Pertamina Persero.
He said that program beneficiaries must innovate and develop businesses to improve their welfare.
“This program is not a charity but rather an empowerment program whose hope is to help the beneficiaries in a sustainable manner with the business they are engaged in,” said Dian.
On the same occasion, the Chairman of the YIIM Management, Chrisbiantoro, expressed his gratitude for holding the social entrepreneurship training.
It is recorded that there are 21 training alumni who have started businesses.
They have independently developed their businesses and are prosperous.
“Thank you to Pertamina and PTC for helping the beneficiaries. We hope that we can help more underprivileged, less fortunate and people with disabilities for empowerment,” said Chrisbiantoro hopefully.
