Environmental Education and Tree Planting with Youth in West Java
Over 50 youth and student volunteers joined YIIM and Insight to plant 500 fruit and shade trees while participating in hands-on climate education in West Java.
Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) in collaboration with PT Insight Investments Management organized a Youth Environmental Action and Tree Planting Day in West Java.
More than 50 young volunteers and high school students participated in planting 500 fruit and shade tree saplings across degraded public lands, helping restore soil moisture and expand green cover.
The planting was accompanied by interactive environmental education sessions discussing climate change mitigation, waste management, and youth environmental stewardship.
This initiative supports SDG 13: Climate Action and SDG 15: Life on Land.
