Gempita Ramadan food assistance in Kebayoran Lama

On Saturday, April 6, 2024, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management continued the GEMPITA Ramadan program by distributing staple food packages to underprivileged families through the DKM of Masjid Raya Al Insan.

The event took place in the hall of Masjid Raya Al Insan on Jalan Patal Senayan 1, Grogol Utara, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, distributing 150 staple food packages containing rice, cooking oil, sugar, and essential groceries.

In addition to food distribution, the event featured community service by YIIM vocational training alumni: barber alumni provided free haircuts to 8 mosque students (santri), while AC technician alumni cleaned and serviced the mosque’s air conditioning units free of charge.

This initiative provided direct food security for vulnerable households welcoming Eid al-Fitr while demonstrating the tangible community contribution of vocational empowerment alumni.

This program contributes to SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.
