, JAKARTA–Commemorating National Children’s Day, the Indonesia Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) together with PT. Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) provides social and humanitarian programs to provide educational and social aid for children with disabilities, rare diseases, scavenger children, street children, fishermen’s children and children from underprivileged communities.

This assistance program will be implemented from July 22 to early August 2022.

The total amount of educational and social aid distributed to beneficiaries was 295 aid packages consisting of 236 educational aid packages in the form of stationery, notebooks, drawing books, drawing pencils, children’s snacks and children’s story books.

Then, 20 social assistance packages for children’s health in the form of UHT milk, children’s diapers, dry tissue, wet tissue, Oreo biscuits, Roma biscuits, and 36 social assistance packages in the form of children’s milk and children’s snacks.

Director of PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (Insight), Ria M. Warganda, explained that the provision of education & health social assistance organized by Insight and YIIM to commemorate National Children’s Day (HAN) 2022 is in line with the social responsibility consistently carried out by Insight.

“On the occasion of National Children’s Day 2022, Insight and YIIM provided social assistance with a total of 292 education and health packages to children with cancer, disabilities, street children, children of scavengers and fishermen in five locations spread across Jakarta and Bekasi,” said Ria M. Warganda in a written statement, Monday (1/8/2022).

“This social assistance is a form of Insight’s consistency in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end hunger, eradicate all forms of poverty and ensure adequate and inclusive quality education and encourage learning opportunities for everyone, especially children in need.”

Ria also hopes that Indonesian children will continue to maintain their enthusiasm for learning despite all their limitations.

This assistance was distributed to 5 regional points in the Special Capital Region (DKI) Jakarta province, including as follows:

1. 50 child education assistance packages and 20 social assistance packages for 27 child cancer patients assisted by the Laskar Apheresis Sharing Foundation (YLAB) at the Darmais Cancer Hospital, West Jakarta

2. 50 packages of children’s education assistance to 50 children of scavenger residents assisted by Pelangi Semesta Alam Kindergarten in the Bantar Gebang Waste Disposal Area, Bekasi.

3. 36 child education assistance packages and 36 social packages in the form of milk and snacks to 36 children with disabilities and rare diseases assisted by the Indonesian Rare Disorder Community in the South Jakarta area.

4. 50 packages of children’s education assistance to 50 street children and children of scavengers in the Keramat Jati area, East Jakarta. Accompanied by Rumah Langit Baru in the Keramat Jati area, East Jakarta.

5. 50 packages of children’s education assistance to 50 children of Kaliadem Traditional Fishermen, Muara Angke, North Jakarta.

“This program is in line with the agenda for sustainable development goals (SDGs) number 3 concerning healthy and prosperous living and number 4 quality education,” stressed Ria M. Warganda

Through this synergy and initiative, the Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) hopes that the programs implemented can provide real benefits, open up wider opportunities for independence for participants, and actively contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
