, JAKARTA – Indonesian Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) together with PT. Insight Investments Management is again carrying out social service actions for communities affected by Covid-19.

This time, YIIM and Insight held several programs, including distributing reading books, fairy tales, folk tales, picture books and writing equipment to 32 children from families whose parents work as scavengers and casual workers in the Banten area. YIIM Chairman Chrisbiantoro said that his party was trying to provide the best according to its capabilities to help people affected by Covid-19.

“We also hope that the reading books and school equipment we provide can ease the burden on children affected by Covid-19,” said Chrisbiantoro in his statement, Tuesday (8/12)

Then YIIM and Insight distributed reading books and school supplies to Rumpin schools located at Cibitung Village, Rumpin District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province. The books donated include reading books for children, including fairy tales, folk tales, educational packages, religious and basic entrepreneurship books for children to foster an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age.

Furthermore, YIIM also distributed aid to 32 fishermen groups, each group consisting of 8 to 10 people located in Cilincing District, North Jakarta. The assistance provided included hoses, buckets, scoop nets, compressors, compressor hoses, evamats, crab trap nets and anti-slip sandals.

Successively, YIIM and Insight also distributed aid to 75 residents of Mautapaga Village, South Ende District, Ende Regency, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.

The assistance provided is in the form of basic necessities and aid for thread and cloth for small weaving businesses in Mautapaga Village. On Thursday, YIIM and PT. Insight will also provide assistance with 100 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and changes of clothing for medical personnel at the Athlete’s House who are on the front line of handling Covid-19. Previously, at the beginning of the pandemic, YIIM and Insight had also distributed 1,000 PPE for medical personnel and distributed disinfectant assistance through Baznas and PMI South Jakarta to be sprayed in public places and places of worship.

This assistance is also a continuation of the assistance packages for communities affected by Covid that have been distributed by YIIM and Insight since the beginning of the pandemic until now, including internet quota packages for teaching teachers, basic food assistance for informal workers and ready-to-eat food for scavengers and street children. Meanwhile, representatives of PT. Insight Dwi Laksmi Anggita Sari said that her party is committed to ensuring that every investment carried out can have a positive impact on social change. “Hopefully the pandemic will pass quickly and everyone will be given health,” he said.
