Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) in collaboration with PT Insight Investments Management delivered an intensive vocational barbering program for 15 unemployed and underemployed youth in Jakarta.

The program combined theoretical instruction on haircutting techniques, styling trends, sanitation standards, and customer service with intensive live-model cutting practice under master barber supervision.

Participants also received business startup kits including professional clippers, scissors, capes, and grooming supplies, alongside financial planning guidance to help them launch freelance or salon careers.

This project aligns with SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, creating pathways to dignified, self-sustaining employment.
