The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (INSIGHT) are always committed to supporting the strengthening of community independence through a series of inclusive and sustainable empowerment initiatives.
, JAKARTA – The Indonesian Inspiration for Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) (IIM) are again distributing social assistance to communities affected by Covid-19.
The first aid was distributed to children from the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) (LPSK) at the LPSK Office, Jalan Raya Bogor KM 24, Susukan, Ciracas, East Jakarta in early February 2021.
They were given assistance in the form of school bags, notebooks, reading books, stationery, drawing books, masks and hand sanitizer.
The handover of this aid was openly welcomed by the Chairman of LPSK, Dr. Hasto Atmojo Suroyo, M. Cream.
Hasto Atmojo Suroyo expressed his gratitude and hopes that the collaboration will provide benefits to the wider community.
“Thank you to YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) for being willing to support the psychosocial assistance program for LPSK protected children. This is in accordance with SDGs Number 16 to strengthen state institutions,” explained Hasto Atmojo Suroyo in a written broadcast on Wednesday (3/3/2021).
“Hopefully this collaboration will continue and provide benefits for those protected under the auspices of LPSK,” he added.
Simultaneously, the Chairman of the YIIM Management, Chrisbiantoro, revealed that the delivery of aid was carried out in two stages to children, starting from Kindergarten (TK) to General High School (SMU) levels spread across the Jakarta and Kalimantan areas.
In total, more than 50 children received school equipment assistance.
“Previously, YIIM and PT Insight also handed over reading books and school equipment to the Kosar Village library, Cipeundeuy, Subang Regency and Bina Putik Mandiri Kindergarten in West Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta,” added Chrisbiantoro.
Simultaneously with these activities, his party also distributed social assistance to elderly groups under the auspices of the Independent Elderly Pondok in Tapos Village, Tigaraksa District, Tangerang Regency.
This assistance includes rice, eggs, sugar, cooking oil, wheat flour, coffee, milk, sardines, instant noodles, diapers, tools to check blood sugar levels, and household necessities.
On the same occasion, social assistance was also distributed in the form of rice, eggs, sugar, tea, coffee, vitamins and masks to legal aid workers affected by Covid 19, namely drivers and cleaners at the Indonesian Legal Aid Foundation (YLBHI) to ease the burden during the pandemic.
“Throughout 2020, YIIM and PT. Insight were recorded as having distributed basic necessities to 5,855 people in 20 provinces. Then assistance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of masks, PPE for medical personnel, vitamins and disinfectants for 1953 people,” explained Chrisbiantoro.
“Apart from that, YIIM and PT Insight also distributed aid for agricultural equipment in Lampung, Batang and Wonogiri and fisheries in DKI Jakarta, as well as weaving crafts in East Nusa Tenggara Province. The details are 250 farmers, 150 fishermen and 18 weaving craftsmen,” he added.
Not only that, his party also distributed aid to victims affected by natural disasters in Mamuju and Majene in January 2021.
Assistance in the form of food and various basic necessities was distributed to 1,123 people consisting of 861 people of productive age, 108 elderly people, 96 babies and toddlers and 58 children of elementary and middle school age.
“Aid was also distributed to residents affected by the eruption of Mount Ile Lewotolok in Lembata, East Nusa Tenggara, reaching 100 people, including 72 elderly people, 4 people of productive age, 20 babies and toddlers, and 4 breastfeeding mothers,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the representative of PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), Dwi Laksmi Anggita Sari, said that the assistance was her party’s commitment as an Investment Manager company that is officially registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
