Social reintegration for correctional clients requires practical vocational expertise and entrepreneurial mindset coaching to empower them economically and facilitate positive, stigma-free societal re-entry.

Dedicated to providing meaningful second chances, the Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun / YIIM), backed by the CSR program of PT Insight Investments Management, collaborated with the Central Jakarta Class I Correctional Center (BAPAS Kelas I Jakarta Pusat) to deliver an intensive Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Program on Monday, 20 January 2020.

Led by experienced industry practitioners, the hands-on workshop provided technical skills training in high-demand trades—including barbershop styling, screen printing, and culinary arts—complemented by business ethics, self-confidence mentoring, and micro-business management fundamentals.

Through this empowerment initiative, YIIM and Insight aim to foster economic independence for correctional clients, facilitate self-employed livelihood opportunities, and break social prejudices to build an inclusive society.

This program supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Inspiration Greetings!
