YIIM Webinar Series 1 Helps Young People Build Strong Personal Brands for Their Careers
YIIM and Insight Investments Management helped 48 students and young professionals strengthen their personal branding, professional networks, and career readiness.

With support from PT Insight Investments Management, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) organized YIIM Webinar Series 1 on 7 March 2026. The online session, titled “Personal Branding for a Growing Career,” created a practical learning space for young people preparing to enter or advance in the workplace.
The webinar featured Suhariyanto Putra, founder of Gerakan Tunas Bangsa and an HR and career coach. Drawing on his experience in human-resource development, he shared perspectives and practical approaches to help participants build professional identities that are authentic, relevant, and aligned with the needs of today’s employment market.
Participants explored personal branding as more than outward presentation or social-media activity. Suhariyanto explained that a strong professional reputation develops from the values, competencies, and integrity that a person demonstrates consistently in everyday work. He also emphasized continuous development through coaching, mentoring, and training.
The session provided practical guidance on using social media – particularly LinkedIn – to communicate skills and experience more strategically. Participants learned how to improve their profiles, expand professional networks, share useful knowledge, and increase their visibility among employers and professional communities.
Discussion also covered the relationship between individual personal branding, organizational development, and workforce quality. Recruitment, employee development, training, and performance evaluation were presented as connected processes that help organizations identify and develop talent sustainably.
The webinar reached 48 participants from varied backgrounds, most of whom were university students or young people preparing to enter or newly entering their careers. An interactive discussion and question-and-answer session allowed them to explore personal-branding strategies and the realities of an evolving workplace.
Through the program, YIIM sought to help young people build positive, credible, and purposeful professional identities. The activity contributed to Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education through accessible career learning, and Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by strengthening participants’ career readiness and professional capabilities.
