Inspiration Scholarships Support Students at LPP Polytechnic Yogyakarta
YIIM, Insight Investments Management, Dapenbun, and LPP Polytechnic continued a scholarship partnership that has supported 22 students, including two newly selected recipients in 2025.
Since its establishment in 2014, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) has delivered Beasiswa Inspirasi for high-achieving students with limited financial means. Across Indonesian universities in large and smaller cities, approximately 100 students have received tuition assistance, living-cost support, educational equipment, or funding to complete their final assignments.
With support from PT Insight Investments Management, YIIM has partnered with LPP Polytechnic Yogyakarta, Dana Pensiun Perkebunan, and the campus to provide scholarships since 2018. By 2025, 22 LPP Polytechnic students had received support and 17 had graduated.
On 15 September 2025, LPP Polytechnic officially opened its 2025/2026 new-student campus orientation at the PT LPP Agro Nusantara Auditorium. The Polytechnic Director explained that the orientation was not merely ceremonial but an important first stage in introducing new students to the academic environment, culture, and institutional values.
During the event, scholarships were symbolically presented to two selected students: Mhd. Imam Maulana Purba from the Applied Bachelor’s program in Plantation Management and Muhammad Oakes Bill Bryan from the Applied Bachelor’s program in Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology.
Scholarship recipients have achieved results in both academic and non-academic fields. Devia Sartika, a 2021 recipient in Diploma 3 Accounting, won second place in both the Business Plan and LCKK categories at the 2023 National Cooperative Concourse.
Rizky Anugrah, a 2021 recipient in Diploma 3 Plantation Crop Cultivation, became the North Sumatra representative for Duta Inspirasi Indonesia Batch 8 in 2023. Rizky also won second place in the same Business Plan and LCKK categories and received full funding to serve in Ayo Mengajar Indonesia Batch 11 in Wakatobi, Southeast Sulawesi.
The program is part of Insight’s corporate social and environmental responsibility commitment to supporting capable students who face economic barriers. YIIM and its partners hope the scholarships will develop qualified professionals for Indonesia’s plantation industry. The initiative contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education.
