Participants practice making frozen food during YIIM entrepreneurship training

Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management (Insight IM) organized a Frozen Food Entrepreneurship Training for 17 participants from economically vulnerable backgrounds in Jakarta.

The workshop covered high-quality ingredient selection, safe food handling, commercial food packaging, freezing methods, and calculating cost of goods sold (COGS / HPP) for retail pricing.

Participants worked in four hands-on groups to craft quail egg ekado and gourmet stuffed tofu meatballs (tahu bakso) with assorted toppings under expert culinary instruction.

The training concluded with business setup discussions and certificate handovers, inspiring participants to launch independent home-based culinary businesses.

This initiative aligns with SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.

Inspiration Greetings!
