Embracing the sacred blessings of Ramadan 1444 H, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), organized an engaging Online Islamic Crash Course (Pesantren Kilat / Sanlat Daring) for elementary (SD) and junior high school (SMP) students throughout the holy month.

The virtual pesantren kilat was conducted across seven intensive sessions held in the late afternoon from 15:30 to 17:30 WIB. A total of 16 young students actively took part in the course, comprising 5 female students and 11 male students. The curriculum ran from March 31 through April 14, 2023, under the dedicated guidance of religious instructors Ustadz Wahyudi and Ustadz Arif. The learning syllabus integrated Tahsinul Qur’an for proper Al-Qur’an recitation, moral character building through inspiring historical narratives of prophets and companions, student motivational sessions, and interactive educational quizzes.

The opening ceremony commenced on Friday, March 31, 2023, attended by YIIM’s leadership. In her welcoming remarks, YIIM Treasurer Riccana Rosita expressed heartfelt appreciation: “We extend our warmest thanks and appreciation to all students who enthusiastically registered for this online pesantren kilat. We encourage every participant to attend consistently through to the final session to fully absorb the beneficial knowledge and life values shared.”

Also speaking at the opening, Isnaeni Setiawan, CSR Coordinator of PT Insight Investments Management, thanked the instructors and participants: “We express our deep gratitude to the teachers for dedicating their time to mentor our youth and to the students for their presence. We encourage everyone to participate attentively throughout all seven sessions, as the curriculum offers inspiring, character-enriching lessons that should not be missed.”

The program concluded on Thursday, April 14, 2023, with the symbolic presentation of graduation certificates. To recognize student commitment and active participation, the organizers awarded complete prayer gear packages to quiz winners, internet data subsidies to students with complete attendance, and special gifts for standout performers.

This online Islamic course formed an essential part of the broader “Tebar Inspirasi di Bulan Suci Ramadhan” 2023 campaign organized by YIIM and PT INSIGHT. Alongside the online crash course, extensive community initiatives were carried out across DKI Jakarta, Depok, Bekasi Regency and City, Bogor Regency, and South Tangerang. These included distributing iftar meals and takjil refreshments, orphan stipends, grocery packs, prayer sets, free AC cleaning and maintenance for mosques and orphanages, and free haircut services for underprivileged residents.
