On Friday, October 7, 2022, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) convened a consultative meeting and partnership dialogue with the Department of Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning (Dinas PPAPP) of the Special Capital Region (DKI) of Jakarta.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Jainudin, Head of General Affairs at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Dinas PPAPP, Mr. Syaifulloh, Manager of Jakpreneur, alongside department staff. YIIM’s delegation was led by Mr. Chrisbiantoro, Chairman of the Board of YIIM, Mrs. Dewi Astari, Secretary of the Board, Achmad Fanani Rosyidi, Program Manager, and Ratih Puspita, Program Staff. Also present were representatives of YIIM-fostered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), including Humam Hasan (Head Barista at Kopi Inspirasi), Gusti Darmawan (Owner of Jago Pangkas Barbershop), and Aries Adryanto (Owner of Warkop Uhuyy).

The gathering took place at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Dinas PPAPP Headquarters on Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, Kavling 64 By Pass RT 02/RW 07, East Cempaka Putih, Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta.

This dialogue served as a strategic follow-up to YIIM’s earlier audience with the Mayor of South Jakarta on Thursday, June 9, 2022, and a subsequent meeting with the South Jakarta Sub-Department of PPAPP on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. The discussions centered on strengthening economic empowerment and business sustainability for MSMEs operated by graduates of YIIM’s vocational programs. This initiative aligns directly with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

The session opened with introductory remarks from Mr. Jainudin, Head of General Affairs at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Dinas PPAPP, who remarked:

"We are extremely grateful for this visit and partnership dialogue from YIIM. We share an identical mission in empowering MSME entrepreneurs. We hope this meeting marks the beginning of an expansive collaboration and formal partnership between our institution and YIIM to work together effectively."

In response, Mr. Chrisbiantoro, Chairman of the Board of YIIM, stated:

"Thank you for warmly receiving our delegation at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Dinas PPAPP. We previously engaged with the South Jakarta City Administration, establishing solid communication that has now successfully linked us with the provincial Dinas PPAPP today. We have already collaborated on multiple initiatives with the South Jakarta Sub-Department, and this provincial dialogue further cements and broadens our joint empowerment work."

This meeting underscores YIIM’s enduring dedication as a civil society organization to actively synergize with government authorities in driving inclusive economic progress, particularly by nurturing micro and small enterprises within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
