Jakarta – On Saturday, August 27, 2022, two alumni of the social entrepreneurship training for MSMEs fostered by the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation (YIIM) participated in the Jakpreneur Bazaar organized by the South Jakarta City Administration’s Agency for Women’s Empowerment, Child Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) at the Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) Bhineka, located at Jalan Swadarma Raya RT 06/RW 04, Ulujami Village, Pesanggrahan District, South Jakarta City, DKI Jakarta.

The two alumni were Mrs. Marsi Astuti, a former participant in the Frozen Food training under YIIM and Pertamina Training & Consulting (PTC) in 2021, who opened a stall named “ayam & kulit Crispy Petukangan,” selling rice boxes containing chicken nuggets, rice boxes with fried chicken, crispy chicken skin chips, and frozen chicken nuggets.

Furthermore, Mr. Aries Adriyanto, a friend with disabilities and an alumnus of the barista coffee training under YIIM and PTC in 2021, opened a stall named “Warkop Uhuyy” selling coffee drinks such as palm sugar milk coffee and Cappucino, along with non-coffee beverages like green matcha latte and Red Velvet.

The Jakpreneur Bazaar stall at RPTRA Bhineka ran for one day from 08:00 to 11:30, coinciding with an affordable basic food subsidy program. Mrs. Marsi Astuti managed to collect sales revenue of Rp 600,000, while Mr. Aries Adriyanto collected sales revenue of Rp 250,000.

This program aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly goal number 1 to end poverty and goal number 8 to support inclusive and sustainable economic growth and decent work for all.

In attendance at the event were Drs. Fatur Rohim, M.Si., Head of the South Jakarta City Administration’s PPAPP Agency; Sukendri Winantu Rahardjo, Head of the Community Empowerment Section at PPAPP South Jakarta; and Achmad Fanani Rosyidi, Program Manager of YIIM, along with his team.

In the same occasion, Mr. Chrisbiantor, Chairperson of the YIIM Board, expressed, “We, the YIIM family, which includes hundreds of MSME actors we foster, are very proud to be part of the Jakpreneur family. The Bazaar activities carried out by Jakpreneur under the South Jakarta PPAPP Agency are highly beneficial. We hope that in the future we can enhance our collaboration in order to strengthen MSME actors.”

Mr. Sukendri Winantu Rahardjo, Head of the Community Empowerment Section at PPAPP South Jakarta, also stated, “We would like to express our gratitude to YIIM and the business actors who have enlivened this bazaar event. We hope this marks the beginning of our growth together.”

Aries Adriyanto, a business actor fostered by YIIM, expressed, “I am extremely grateful to Jakpreneur, YIIM, and the South Jakarta PPAPP Agency for facilitating this bazaar event. It was very lively and greatly supported me in selling my products.”
