The Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation (YIIM) together with PT. Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) on Friday, August 5, 2022, held a humanitarian social program providing prayer equipment and social assistance in the form of prayer tool packages, Al-Quran, reading books, and basic food items for orphans under the care of Nurul Ansor Islamic Boarding School, Karawang Regency, in commemoration of Orphan Day which falls on August 8, 2022 or 10 Muharram 1444 Hijriah.

The educational and social assistance for orphans consisted of 30 prayer assistance packages comprising prayer mats, Al-Quran, mukena, and sarongs. 1 basic food package worth Rp 2,000,000 consisting of rice, cooking oil, and instant noodles, 1 package of reading books for the Islamic Boarding School’s library consisting of various Islamic reading books, children’s stories, stationery, and drawing books.

The assistance was distributed to 30 orphans receiving scholarships from the Nurul Ansor Islamic Boarding School at 13:00 WIB within the premises of the Nurul Ansor Islamic Boarding School located at Makmurjaya Village, Jayakerta District, Karawang Regency, West Java Province.

This program aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda number 1 on no poverty, number 2 on zero hunger, and number 4 on quality education.

Present at the event were Achmad Fanani Rosyidi as YIIM Program Manager along with staff members, M. Rifqi Syahrizal as Chairman of the Nurul Ansor Foundation, and the beneficiary orphans under the care of the Nurul Ansor Islamic Boarding School.

On that occasion, Mr. Suluh T Rahardjo as the CSR Coordinator of PT INSIGHT expressed, “In commemorating Orphan Day which falls on August 8, 2022, we are very grateful to be able to share with orphans, especially those under the care of the Nurul Ansor Islamic Boarding School. The assistance consists of a set of prayer equipment, Al-Quran, reading books, and basic food items. This assistance is one of PT Insight’s concerns, part of INSIGHT’s commitment, namely transforming investments into social impact. Hopefully, with this assistance, it can provide benefits for children in need.”

Furthermore, from YIIM’s representative, Achmad Fanani Rosyidi as YIIM Program Manager stated, “YIIM as a partner of PT. Insight Investments Management is grateful that through this program we can share with children who need moral and material assistance, especially for orphans. This assistance is in commemoration of 10 Muharram or August 8, 2022, which is also commonly called the orphan’s Eid. Hopefully, with this assistance, it can be beneficial for our younger siblings and continue to inspire them to always do good and share with others.”

Meanwhile, M. Rifqi Syahrizal as Chairman of the Nurul Ansor Foundation expressed, “We are very grateful to PT INSIGHT and YIIM for distributing assistance in the form of prayer equipment and social support to the orphans under our care.
