On July 10, 2022, coinciding with Eid al-Adha 1443 H, the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation (YIIM), through its Social, Humanitarian, and Religious Program and supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), provided sacrificial animal assistance to communities in the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) region. YIIM and INSIGHT distributed sacrificial animal assistance worth Rp. 25,000,000 (twenty-five million rupiah), assisted by the implementing partner, the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS).

The sacrificial animal assistance consisted of 3 goats distributed to communities in Noelbaki Village, Central Kupang District, Kupang Regency, NTT, and 1 cow in Nakambara Village, Wolowuru District, Ende Regency, NTT. The slaughtering of the 3 goats took place at the Al Muhajirin Prayer Room and TPQ in Noelbaki Village, Central Kupang District, Kupang Regency, NTT. The total number of beneficiaries of the sacrificial assistance was 90 families (KK), comprising 60 families in Nakambara Village and 30 families in Noelbaki Village.

Due to the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, many people have been economically affected. The sacrificial assistance from YIIM and INSIGHT was given to the underprivileged and vulnerable groups in the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) region. The beneficiaries are people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic who are in need, especially in the 3T areas (disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost). Additionally, this initiative also aims to strengthen brotherhood among the community.

This program is a form of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or corporate social responsibility (CSR) from INSIGHT towards communities in eastern Indonesia. This program aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG Number 2 on ending hunger and SDG Number 17 on partnerships for the goals.

The Chairperson of BAZNAS RI, Prof. Dr. KH. Noor Achmad, MA, in a written statement said, “Alhamdulillah, the implementation of the BAZNAS 2022 Online Qurban Program has been carried out well. We would like to thank the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation (YIIM) and PT. Insight Investment Management for supporting the BAZNAS 2022 Online Qurban Program by distributing sacrificial meat from 1 (one) cow and 3 (three) goats to be distributed in the eastern region of Indonesia, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). We express our gratitude; may Allah SWT bestow blessings, mercy, sustenance, and His grace upon the extended family of YIIM and Insight, Amen. Through this beneficial program for the community, we hope BAZNAS can cooperate again with YIIM and Insight.
