On April 28, 2021, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), with the steadfast support of its principal partner PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), organized a humanitarian outreach event dedicated to vulnerable individuals living with multiple disabilities—a condition involving two or more co-occurring impairments.

Through this charitable endeavor, YIIM and INSIGHT delivered copies of the Holy Qur’an, prayer gear, and basic food staple packages (sembako) to the Wisma Tuna Ganda Palsigunung care home in Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta.

The program was fully sponsored by INSIGHT through its corporate social fund allocation, embodying its core mission of "Transforming Investment into Social Impact"—a foundational philosophy guiding the company’s socially responsible investments.

Wisma Tuna Ganda Palsigunung currently shelters 30 residents with multiple disabilities, ranging from young children to adults. All residents receive comprehensive care and housing entirely free of charge, with the majority having no living relatives or having previously endured abandonment.

This distribution formed an essential part of the "Ramadan Inspiration for Humanity" program series conducted throughout the holy month of Ramadan, driven by an enduring commitment to sharing compassion and spreading inspiration.

Furthermore, this social endeavor aligns directly with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 2: Zero Hunger and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.

The aid packages were handed over in person by the Secretary of the YIIM Executive Board, Dewi Astari, and cordially accepted by the Deputy Head of Wisma Tuna Ganda, Kristanti. Dewi remarked, "Throughout this blessed month of Ramadan, YIIM and INSIGHT aspire to spread inspiration through our ‘Ramadan Inspiration for Humanity’ program. On this occasion, we share kindness with children and individuals living with disabilities."

During the handover ceremony, Kristanti noted that general public donations had declined steeply since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. "On behalf of Wisma Tuna Ganda, we express our heartfelt gratitude to YIIM and PT Insight for their kindness and attention to our residents. This assistance is immensely meaningful, particularly amid ongoing pandemic adversities. May YIIM and PT Insight continue to achieve success," she expressed.

As a non-profit foundation, YIIM warmly welcomes partnerships with all parties wishing to extend solidarity and charitable contributions. Every donation entrusted to YIIM is channeled directly to rightful beneficiaries, including underprivileged families, Covid-19-impacted communities, correctional inmates, and other marginalized groups.
