On Saturday, April 6, 2024, the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation (YIIM) together with PT. Insight Investments Management (PT Insight Investments) continued the series of Gerakan Menginspirasi untuk Pemberdayaan dan Transformasi Asa (GEMPITA) Ramadhan program called “GEMPITA RAMADHAN” by providing assistance in the form of basic food packages for the underprivileged, held at BKM Masjid Raya Al Insan, Jakarta.

This activity is part of the Social, Humanitarian, and Religious Program. Additionally, this program aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG number 2 on ending hunger and number 17 on partnerships for the goals. This mass circumcision activity is also a form of care and Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from PT Insight Investments, which was entrusted to YIIM to assist the underprivileged in the Kebayoran Lama sub-district area.

The event took place at the hall of Masjid Raya Al Insan, Jl. Patal Senayan 1, Kebayoran Lama Sub-district, South Jakarta. Before the event, the beneficiaries registered. A total of 150 families benefited from the basic food package assistance program from YIIM and PT Insight Investments.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an. Following the recitation, there was a speech by Mr. Ari Kuncoro, the Head of the Mosque Welfare Board (BKM) of Masjid Raya Al Insan. In his speech, he stated, “This year’s activity of providing basic food packages to the underprivileged is an event conducted during the holy month of Ramadan by Masjid Raya Al Insan for pre-prosperous families. We express our deepest gratitude to PT Insight Investments and YIIM, who have supported this event and entrusted their sustenance to us. We hope this activity brings benefit to the recipients and that the donors receive blessings for their kindness today.”

After the speech, the distribution process to the beneficiaries began. The basic food package assistance helped the recipients in preparing for the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

Previously, on March 28, 2024, also at Masjid Raya Al Insan, YIIM and PT Insight Investments, together with Gusti Darmawan, an alumnus of barber training, and Bambang Setiadji, an alumnus of AC cleaning training, conducted free haircuts for 8 students of Pesantren Quran Al-Insan Ibnu Mas’ud and AC cleaning at Masjid Raya Al Insan. This is a form of contribution from YIIM and PT Insight Investments’ training alumni to provide social, humanitarian, and religious assistance.
