Commemorating 11 Years of Social Service and Leadership Transition
Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) held its 11th-anniversary celebration alongside the Chairperson handover ceremony at Sotis Hotel Jakarta, reaffirming continuous dedication to social empowerment and community humanitarian programs.

Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) commemorated 11 years of dedicated service in community empowerment on Thursday, June 19, 2025, held at the Kelimutu Hall, Sotis Hotel, Jakarta. This momentous occasion coincided with the official leadership transition ceremony for the Foundation's Chairperson, marking a milestone in organizational succession to carry forward YIIM's vision and mission.
Bearing the celebratory theme "11 Years of Inspiring," the anniversary reflected the foundation's spirit of collaboration and consistency in empowering marginalized communities across its four core pillars: Economic Empowerment, Education, Social Humanitarian & Religious Affairs, and Environmental Sustainability. Over more than a decade of steadfast dedication, YIIM has touched the lives of more than 100,000 beneficiaries across Indonesia.
The ceremony was attended by founders, board members, trustees, supervisors, donors, strategic institutional partners, volunteers, and program beneficiaries. In his farewell address, outgoing Chairperson for the 2019–2024 period, Mr. Chrisbiantoro, expressed heartfelt gratitude and profound appreciation for the collective dedication witnessed throughout his tenure. He officially passed the mantle of leadership to the newly appointed Chairperson for the 2025–2030 term, Mr. Normansyah Kusuma.
"This 11-year journey has been filled with meaningful challenges and valuable lessons. I am confident that under this fresh leadership, YIIM will continue to flourish and expand its transformative impact," Mr. Chrisbiantoro stated in his address.
In his inaugural speech, Mr. Normansyah Kusuma stressed the importance of sustaining, strengthening, and evolving the foundation's initiatives to remain agile and impactful amid evolving contemporary challenges. "Together with the entire team, I am committed to safeguarding the spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) and uncompromised integrity that have formed YIIM's foundational pillars," he declared.
The event festivities featured a traditional tumpeng-cutting ceremony, the official launch of an artisanal perfume souvenir crafted by Andi Yogie Supardi—an alumnus of YIIM's 2024 Perfume Entrepreneurship Training—and concluded with a group photograph. A deeply touching and warm atmosphere permeated the hall as attendees watched a retrospective documentary chronicling YIIM's 11-year journey.
This anniversary serves as an invigorating springboard, reaffirming the foundation's enduring commitment to remain an inspirational beacon in nation-building.
Salam Inspirasi!
