Iftar Meal Assistance for Underprivileged Children at Sekolah Kita Rumpin Bogor
YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management distributed iftar meal packages and hosted a communal breaking of the fast with underprivileged orphans at Sekolah Kita Rumpin, Bogor Regency, under the Gempita Ramadhan program.
On Thursday, March 13, 2025, the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation (YIIM) together with PT. Insight Investments Management (PT IIM), as part of the Ramadan series of the Inspiring Movement for Empowerment and Transformation of Hope (GEMPITA) program, “GEMPITA RAMADHAN,” provided iftar packages for orphaned, underprivileged, and pre-prosperous children in the Bogor Regency area.
Sekolah Kita Rumpin (SKR) is a free alternative school for children living in the suburban area of Kampung Cibitung, Rumpin District, Bogor Regency, West Java.
The area is known to be a remote area whose teaching staff are volunteers from various regions and backgrounds who sincerely teach children without pay. The students studying at SKR range in age from 7 to 17 years, with a total of three teachers. The handover of the iftar packages took place at SKR, and the activity began with the recitation of the holy verses of the Qur’an by the children and SKR management. Following the recitation, a speech was delivered by Mrs. Neneng on behalf of SKR. In her remarks, Mrs.
Neneng stated, “We express our deepest gratitude to PT IIM and YIIM for entrusting their blessings to us. We hope this activity will bring benefits to the beneficiaries, and may the donors receive rewards for their kindness today.”
After the speech, the iftar packages were distributed to the beneficiaries, followed by a joint iftar with the SKR management. A total of 50 people benefited from the GEMPITA RAMADHAN program at SKR. This activity is part of the Social, Humanitarian, and Religious Program.
In addition, this program is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG number 2 on ending hunger. This activity is also a form of concern and Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from PT IIM, which was entrusted to YIIM to help the underprivileged in the Bogor Regency area.
YIIM together with PT IIM remains committed to spreading inspiration to various regions in Indonesia. Hopefully, with this assistance, it can inspire the community to share with one another.
