Ten selected graduates of the Perfume Entrepreneurship Training received business starter capital on September 21 to 22, 2026. The distribution took place at the Aneka Parfum store in Jakarta as a tangible follow-up to the Skilled and Empowered Community Program (MATA) initiated by Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun in partnership with PT Insight Investments Management.

The beneficiaries were selected through a business feasibility assessment following the intensive training held in early September. Out of 24 participants who completed the training program, ten individuals with the most viable business plans were selected to launch their commercial ventures.

Personalized Fragrance Concentrates and Packaging Selection

The business starter support was delivered in the form of production packages comprising quality fragrance oil concentrates, a selection of spray and roll-on bottles, and essential compounding supplies. The handover was conducted directly through face-to-face sessions at the partner perfume store.

This approach allowed each entrepreneur to test scent profiles, consult on prevailing market fragrance trends, and choose bottle designs tailored to their target customer segments. Participants applied formulation skills gained during training to match current consumer preferences.

Ongoing Mentorship Toward Sustainable Independence

Providing ready-to-use production materials bridges classroom instruction and direct market entry. With fragrance oils and commercial packaging in hand, participants can initiate their first retail sales without being hindered by prohibitive initial startup expenses.

The mentoring team continues to support each recipient throughout the early sales phase, assisting with unit pricing, product presentation standards, and basic financial tracking.

This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, notably SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
