Participants learn perfume production and entrepreneurship skills

Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) and PT Insight Investments Management organized their inaugural perfume entrepreneurship workshop on August 20–21, 2024. The two-day training was designed to equip participants from vulnerable backgrounds with practical fragrance formulation skills and business guidance.

Seventeen participants—including correctional clients, laid-off workers, homemakers, job seekers, and freelancers—joined the workshop.

The curriculum covered fragrance notes (top, middle, base), identifying aroma oils, blending ratios, solvent formulation, bottling, packaging aesthetics, pricing, and retail marketing strategies for boutique perfumery.

Industry practitioners shared market insights and provided individualized feedback on participants’ unique perfume blends.

This project contributes to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.

Inspiration Greetings!
