Inspiration Barbershop Training Session

The Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management successfully concluded another intensive training cohort at the Sekolah Barbershop Inspirasi (Inspiration Barbershop School) in South Jakarta.

The specialized academy provides intensive, full-scholarship vocational education for unemployed youth, correctional clients, and individuals from low-income backgrounds. The curriculum blends professional grooming artistry—including fades, classic gentleman cuts, beard trims, hot-towel shaves, and scalp massage—with business management and customer psychology.

Upon graduation, every trainee received a commercial barber kit complete with cordless clippers, detail trimmers, professional shears, combs, cape, and styling products, along with access to YIIM’s post-training business incubation and salon placement network.

Graduates expressed deep gratitude for the comprehensive mentorship, affirming their readiness to establish independent barbershops or enter leading commercial barber studios.

This initiative advances SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Inspiration Greetings!
