On Thursday, October 12, 2023, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) and PT Insight Investments Management in collaboration with the Carenang District Administration organized a makeup skills training centered on entrepreneurship and local economic growth.

The training ran from 08:30 to 15:00 WIB and was attended by 25 women and young women from the Dharma Wanita Persatuan and Early Childhood Education (PAUD) principal representatives across Carenang District.

Alvinna Amir, Chairperson of Dharma Wanita Persatuan Carenang District, expressed gratitude to YIIM and Insight, encouraging participants to practice their skills continually, share them with family and neighbors, and turn them into pathways toward economic self-reliance and household income growth.

Isnaeni Setiawan, Insight CSR Coordinator, shared that this training marked the partners’ second engagement with the Carenang community, representing Insight’s accountability to investors and the wider public. He expressed hope that the partnership would continue addressing community needs, emphasizing that participant commitment is key to meaningful impact.

Imam Fadchurrozi, Secretary of YIIM, noted that YIIM has conducted social entrepreneurship training across various regions and hoped this Carenang program would foster new initiatives and micro-businesses delivering positive local impact.

The workshop was facilitated by Regita Cahyani, a BNSP-certified YIIM makeup training alumna and owner of Gitaacms Wedding, supported by assistant trainers. Participants received YIIM training modules and professional makeup starter kits provided in collaboration with Mazaya.

Course materials covered skin type analysis, makeup tools, face cleansing, product application, and guided individual practice following live demonstrations. The instructor evaluated participants’ work and provided personalized feedback. The session concluded with discussions on makeup techniques, foundation selection for various skin types, professional challenges, and managing a beauty service business.

This program supports women’s economic independence, local entrepreneurship, and practical skills development that can be applied and shared with others.
