Renovated toilet and ablution facilities at a prayer room in Solok

As part of its ongoing environmental and public health initiatives, the Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management completed the comprehensive renovation of public sanitation and ablution facilities in Nagari Dilam, Bukit Sundi District, Solok Regency, West Sumatra.

The facility previously suffered from severe leaks, deteriorated plumbing, and poor drainage, creating difficulties for worshipers and local residents who relied on it for daily hygiene and clean water access. The completed renovation upgraded the water piping networks, replaced damaged sanitary ware, built proper drainage channels, and installed clean water storage tanks.

The newly refurbished facility now comfortably serves more than 350 rural families and travelers visiting the community mosque, ensuring dignified, hygienic, and sustainable sanitation.

Wali Nagari Dilam expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the community, noting that the renovated facility significantly elevates public hygiene standards and resolves long-standing water distribution issues in the village.

This initiative represents YIIM and Insight’s dedication to improving rural infrastructure, aligning directly with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, SDG 11: Sustainable Communities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Inspiration Greetings!
