Doll-sewing entrepreneurship training for BKMM members in Bekasi

The Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (YIIM) and PT Insight Investments Management conducted an Intensive Doll-Making and Plush Toy Entrepreneurship Training for 10 women members of the Mosque Majelis Ta’lim Coordination Body (BKMM) of Bekasi City, West Java.

The training curriculum was structured to teach commercial toy manufacturing from basic to advanced levels, including pattern drafting, fabric selection, precision cutting, specialized machine stitching, synthetic fiber stuffing, facial embroidery, and quality control inspection.

To enable commercial production immediately, participants were provided with heavy-duty electric sewing machines, pattern templates, polyester fiber filling, and craft fabric bundles. The program also incorporated guidance on digital product photography, pricing calculations, and craft market placement.

Chairperson of BKMM Bekasi City thanked YIIM and Insight for creating practical economic empowerment pathways that enable homemakers to earn independent incomes from home.

This program supports SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 5: Gender Equality, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Inspiration Greetings!
