YIIM Implements Phase I Intensive Stunting Prevention Program for Toddlers in Petogogan
The Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (YIIM) executed Phase I of its intensive stunting prevention and nutritional recovery program for toddlers in Petogogan.

Effective stunting prevention requires close nutritional tracking and sustained dietary interventions to ensure that children identified with growth faltering achieve positive developmental trajectories.
Following the launch of community Nutrition Posts, the Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun / YIIM) executed Phase I of the Intensive Stunting and Malnutrition Recovery Program in Petogogan Urban Village, South Jakarta, from 1 to 10 November 2019.
Over this intensive 10-day cycle, YIIM and local health cadres provided freshly prepared, nutrient-dense meals rich in animal protein and essential vitamins daily. Each feeding session incorporated precise weight monitoring, growth curve evaluations, and personalized maternal counseling on nutrition and home hygiene.
Preliminary evaluations showed substantial weight gain and improved appetite among participating toddlers, validating the impact of community-driven nutritional intervention models.
This program supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
Inspiration Greetings!
