On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), organized a humanitarian assistance initiative delivering essential prescription medicines and healthcare supplies to a crime victim under the protective care of the Witness and Victim Protection Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (LPSK RI).

The humanitarian aid was delivered directly to Mrs. Damaris Hutabarat (70 years old), an LPSK-protected person, at her residence in East Beji Village, Beji District, Depok City, West Java. Mrs. Damaris has courageously lived with systemic lupus for 20 years. Long-term medical side effects have resulted in severe bone and physical complications, leaving her permanently bedridden and reliant on specialized medications not covered by the national healthcare program (BPJS Kesehatan).

The medical package provided included doctor-prescribed pharmaceuticals such as Starletto, Glucosamine, Sucralfate syrup, Pregabalin, Poliacit, Etopel, Neurobion Forte, Thrombo, Lansoprazole, Curcuma, Espilet, and other vital therapies. This was supplemented with daily care supplies, including adult adhesive diapers, medical underpads, and therapeutic massage oil.

The handover was attended by LPSK RI representatives Mrs. Handari Restu Dewi (Head of the Bureau for the Fulfillment of Witness and Victim Rights at LPSK RI) and Agus Janan W. (Staff at the Bureau for the Fulfillment of Witness and Victim Rights), Mr. Paian Siahaan (husband of Mrs. Damaris / LPSK-protected person), and Achmad Fanani Rosyidi (Program Manager of YIIM).

On this occasion, the CSR Team Coordinator of PT Insight Investments Management, Mr. Suluh Tripambudi Rahardjo, emphasized: "We hope this provision of prescription medications and medical care aids will bring comfort to Mrs. Damaris as an LPSK-protected person and be utilized to the fullest. This initiative reflects PT Insight Investments Management’s ongoing social commitment to helping those facing immense adversity."

Concurrently, Mr. Chrisbiantoro, Chairman of the Board of Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun, expressed: "As an implementing partner of PT Insight Investments Management, YIIM is profoundly grateful to stand alongside Mrs. Damaris through this humanitarian program. Our close collaboration with LPSK RI is an integral part of our joint commitment to support protected persons and victims, helping them navigate their most challenging moments."

This compassionate initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
