AROMA Training Prepares 15 Baristas and Coffee Entrepreneurs
Fifteen selected participants completed five days of intensive training in espresso making, milk processing, latte art, mocktails, cafe management, and customer service.

Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) and Insight Investments Management organized the Aksi Peningkatan Usaha Barista Masyarakat (AROMA) program to assist participants from economically and socially vulnerable backgrounds in launching careers and businesses in the coffee industry.
A total of 15 selected participants took part in five days of intensive training in Jakarta, acquiring practical barista skills, modern drink preparation techniques, cafe operations management, and customer service excellence.
The curriculum provided in-depth practice on espresso extraction, milk frothing, latte art designs, signature mocktail creation, contemporary flavored powder drinks, and real-world coffee shop role-playing simulations.
Instructors also guided participants in cost of goods calculation, beverage pricing, hygienic bar operations, and hospitality ethics.
This program embodies Insight’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility and aligns with SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.
Inspiration Greetings!
