On Friday, April 26, 2022, the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation (YIIM), supported by its main partner PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), once again shared blessings during the month of Ramadan in 2022 through the Ramadhan Berkah Assistance Program with the tagline “Ramadhan Berkah, Mari Menginspirasi Bersama” (Ramadhan Blessings, Let’s Inspire Together). The event aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG Number 2 on Ending Hunger.

This Ramadan iftar assistance was provided to street children and orphans under the care of the Rumah Kreatif Generasi Masa Depan (RKGMD) community in the South Tangerang area. RKGMD is a community that focuses on educational welfare for marginalized communities such as children of scavengers and school dropouts. A total of 100 iftar packages consisting of rice boxes and takjil were distributed. The iftar packages were prepared by Ms. Dwi Emitasari, one of the alumni of the 2020 YIIM and INSIGHT culinary training program.

The handover of the iftar assistance packages was carried out directly by Ms. Ratih Puspita as YIIM’s representative to Mr. Mistanto, the representative of RKGMD. The handover ceremony took place at the RKGMD Office, Jl. Mawar No.3B, RT.006/RW.07, Pisangan, Kec. Ciputat Tim, South Tangerang.

In her speech, Ms. Ratih conveyed, “This Ramadan blessing assistance program is part of a series of programs implemented by YIIM and INSIGHT since April 22, 2022, in 6 (six) points in the Jabodetabek area, namely in South Jakarta, Depok, Bekasi, Bogor Regency, Tangerang Regency, and South Tangerang. Hopefully, this small assistance from us can bring benefits to our younger siblings at RKGMD and the wider community in need.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Mistanto, as the administrator of RKGMD, in his speech expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the organization of this Ramadan blessing assistance event.

“Thank you to the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation and PT Insight Investments Management for providing iftar packages to our children under care. Previously, YIIM and INSIGHT have also greatly assisted us, especially in terms of educational support. Hopefully, YIIM and INSIGHT will continue to help, particularly for the underprivileged and those in need. May this assistance be a blessing for everyone.”

As a non-profit organization, YIIM is open to support and collaboration with any party so that more people can benefit from YIIM’s programs and the inspiration YIIM spreads to help build Indonesia can reach even wider.
