On Friday, April 22, 2022, the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), organized a Ramadan iftar assistance program for orphaned and underprivileged students at the Modern Islamic Boarding School Al-Makmur, located at Jl. Kampung Leusir, RT 05/RW 01, Munjul Village, Solear District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province.

The Ramadan iftar assistance consisted of 100 iftar packages containing boxed meals and takjil, and 100 Ramadan gift packages containing various light snacks, milk, and biscuits. This assistance was given to 100 orphans and underprivileged children who are scholarship students at the Al-Makmur Islamic Boarding School.

This event aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, specifically SDG Number 2 on Zero Hunger.

The event was attended by invited guests representing institutions and the community around the Al-Makmur Islamic Boarding School, including Dr. Ikin Kurnendi (Community Figure), K.H. Nurhadi (Community Figure), Mr. Wawan (Village Chief of Munjul Village), Mr. Supri (Village Military Non-Commissioned Officer of Munjul Village), and Mrs. Ricca Rosita (Treasurer of the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation) along with staff. Also present were the leadership of the Al-Makmur Islamic Boarding School, Ustad Athoullah, S.Ag., and H. Agus Supriatna, S.H., M.H., M.Si., as the caretaker of the Al-Makmur Islamic Boarding School. The event was attended by more than 100 boarding school students, guardians, and local residents. It commenced at 4:00 PM WIB and concluded afterwards.

On the same occasion, Mr. Suluh Tripambudi Rahardjo, CSR Coordinator of PT Insight Investments Management, conveyed the following:

“This blessed Ramadan assistance program for orphaned and underprivileged students is part of the social action program implemented during Ramadan by PT Insight Investments Management, in line with our company’s tagline ‘Transforming Investment To Social Impact’. We hope this event can bring benefits and blessings during this Ramadan.”

In her remarks, Mrs. Ricca Rosita, Treasurer of the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation, conveyed the following:

“Honorable guests, the extended family of the Al-Makmur Islamic Boarding School, the Head and Caretaker of the Boarding School, as well as the students and teachers. Thank you for the extraordinary welcome at this event. The blessed Ramadan assistance program is part of a series of programs organized by YIIM with the support of PT Insight Investment Management. We hope that this small assistance from us can be beneficial for our younger brothers and sisters, the orphaned and underprivileged students here.”

Meanwhile, Mr. H. Agus Supriatna, as the caretaker of the boarding school, in his remarks, expressed his gratitude and thankfulness for the organization of this blessed Ramadan assistance event.

“Thank you to the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation and PT Insight Investments Management for providing assistance to our students, who are orphans and underprivileged children and indeed receive scholarships from the Al-Makmur Islamic Boarding School. No matter the amount of aid, we must be grateful so that all these good intentions become a blessing for many people.”

The Blessed Ramadan Assistance Program is part of the 2022 Ramadan program series with the tagline “Blessed Ramadan, Let’s Inspire Together” and is planned to be held at 6 (six) locations in the Greater Jakarta area, namely South Jakarta, Depok, Bekasi, Bogor Regency, South Tangerang, and Tangerang Regency. Various activities to be carried out include; sharing iftar packages, takjil, basic food items, prayer equipment, free AC cleaning and servicing at mosques and orphanages, and free haircuts.

YIIM, as a non-profit organization, is open to support and collaboration with any party so that more people can benefit from YIIM’s programs and the inspiration YIIM spreads to help build Indonesia can reach further.
