Since its founding in 2014, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) has continuously implemented the Inspirasi Scholarship Education Program, dedicated to supporting high-achieving university students from underprivileged economic backgrounds. Through this initiative, YIIM has provided comprehensive assistance—encompassing tuition fees, living allowances, educational supplies, and final thesis completion grants—benefiting approximately 100 students across tertiary institutions throughout Indonesia, in major urban centers and regional areas alike.

This initiative is supported by PT Insight Investments Management (Insight IM) through dedicated corporate social responsibility funds deployed across the archipelago, including the Special Region of Yogyakarta. From 2018 to date, a total of 22 students at Politeknik LPP Yogyakarta have received education scholarships, with 17 scholars having successfully graduated and embarked on professional careers.

On Tuesday, September 15, 2025, Politeknik LPP Yogyakarta formally opened its Campus Life Orientation for New Students (PKKMB) for the 2025/2026 Academic Year at the Auditorium of PT LPP Agro Nusantara. In his address, the Director of Politeknik LPP emphasized that orientation is not merely ceremonial, but an essential foundational process preparing new students to adapt and cultivate their potential. During the gathering, a symbolic scholarship handover took place for two selected Inspirasi Scholarship recipients: Mhd. Imam Maulana Purba (D4 Plantation Management) and Muhammad Oakes Bill Bryan (D4 Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology). This ceremony marked the beginning of their academic journey embracing the academic rigor, culture, and core values upheld at Politeknik LPP Yogyakarta.

Throughout the joint implementation between YIIM, Insight IM, the Plantation Pension Fund (Dapenbun), and Politeknik LPP, scholarship recipients have consistently demonstrated exemplary achievements across academic and extracurricular arenas. Noteworthy accolades include 2021 scholar Devia Sartika (D3 Accounting), who achieved 2nd Place in the Business Plan Category and 2nd Place in the LCKK Category at the 2023 National Cooperative Concourse. Similarly, Rizky Anugrah (D3 Plantation Crop Cultivation) was appointed as Indonesian Inspiration Ambassador Batch 8 for North Sumatra Province in 2023, won 2nd Place in Business Plan and 2nd Place in LCKK at the 2023 National Cooperative Concourse, and earned a fully-funded volunteer placement in Ayo Mengajar Indonesia Batch 11 in Wakatobi, Southeast Sulawesi.

The Inspirasi Scholarship Program represents a concrete embodiment of Insight IM's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in uplifting promising students who face financial constraints yet demonstrate active leadership and commendable social empathy. It is widely hoped that this educational scholarship continues to foster competent, highly qualified human resources for Indonesia's plantation industry. This program directly contributes to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education.

Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) is a non-profit organization established by social and humanitarian advocates to empower marginalized communities. YIIM warmly welcomes partnerships and cross-sector support to further expand its social impact and build a thriving Indonesia.

Salam Inspirasi!
