On July 25, 2024, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), in collaboration with Insight Investments Management, partnered with the Family Welfare Empowerment Mobilization Team (TP-PKK) of Carenang District to provide a workshop on “Financial Literacy: How to Manage Finances Soundly and Effectively.” The educational session took place during the regular monthly PKK gathering at the Carenang District Office Hall in Panenjoan Village, Carenang District, Serang Regency, Banten Province.

The event convened from 08:30 AM to 12:00 PM WIB and was attended by 57 PKK cadres representing every village throughout Carenang District.

The event was attended by Drs. Arif Roikhan, M.Si., Head of Carenang District, and Ms. Alvinna Amir, S.H., Chairwoman of TP-PKK Carenang District, alongside the Board of Trustees and operational staff of Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun. Financial literacy presentations were delivered by two speakers representing Insight Investments Management: Mr. Reyhan Adi Nugraha, Retail Sales, Distribution, and Business Alliances Associate, and Ms. Alifah Ghina Maharani, Deputy Head of Retail Sales at Insight Investments Management.

The program commenced with a communal recitation of Surah Yasin by the PKK members, followed by welcoming remarks from District Head Arif Roikhan. In his speech, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to YIIM and Insight IM: “I extend my sincere thanks to YIIM and INSIGHT for the opportunity to present financial literacy materials in our regular gathering. I hope our PKK mothers pay close attention to this material, as it is essential for the sound and effective management of our household finances.”

Following the welcoming speech, Mr. Reyhan Adi Nugraha presented the keynote module titled “Financial Literacy Series: Social Impact Investing.” The session explored the vital importance of sound money management, encompassing structured spending controls, long-term financial planning, and familiarity with diverse financial products. The speaker also highlighted the vulnerabilities associated with holding savings exclusively in physical cash—such as purchasing power erosion from inflation and physical hazards—while presenting safer, value-generating investment alternatives.

As a non-profit institution, YIIM remains receptive to support and partnerships with all stakeholders, aiming to expand the reach of its beneficial programs and amplify inspiring initiatives that contribute to building a better Indonesia.

Salam Inspirasi!
