Distribution of Food Assistance, Vitamins, and Masks for Performing Artists in Bekasi
Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management, distributed 120 packages of food provisions, vitamins, and face masks to performing artists and cultural workers impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic in Bekasi, West Java.

On December 24, 2020, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), supported by its primary partner PT Insight Investments Management, distributed 120 packages of basic groceries, vitamins, and protective masks to performing artists impacted by Covid-19 in Bekasi City and Bekasi Regency, West Java Province. The food aid included rice, eggs, cooking oil, instant noodles, granulated sugar, milk, biscuits, and vitamins.
This humanitarian distribution was prompted by the plight of artists and performing workers who were unable to earn a livelihood due to activity restrictions throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Performing artists who earn a living playing music at wedding ceremonies had been unable to secure work for half a year. Many had to pivot into working as online ride-hailing drivers, local motorcycle taxi operators, or small traders to sustain their families' daily needs, yet they often slipped through the cracks of welfare assistance.
For data registration and logistical delivery, YIIM partnered with a local musicians' association, Yayasan Keyboardist Lintas Wilayah (YA-KYLAW). During the handover, Supriadi Malidar, Chairman of YA-KYLAW, expressed heartfelt gratitude: "Thank you to YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management for their sincere care toward artists; these basic food packages are immensely meaningful and beneficial for us. May the Covid-19 pandemic end soon so that we artists can return to work as before."
This food relief initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 2: Zero Hunger, helping to curb poverty and alleviate hunger during the prolonged national pandemic.
This outreach is a concrete manifestation of YIIM's social and humanitarian programs dedicated during the Covid-19 era to relieve the burdens of grassroots individuals who lost their livelihoods and employment opportunities.
As a non-profit organization, YIIM welcomes collaboration and contributions from all parties who wish to support or donate. Every contribution entrusted to YIIM is delivered directly to verified recipients, including underprivileged families, correctional inmates, victims of crimes, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable communities.
Salam Inspirasi!
