On December 2 and 3, 2020, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), with the steadfast support of its principal partner PT Insight Investments Management, distributed 65 relief packages containing basic groceries, vitamins, and protective masks, alongside 10 sets of traditional weaving equipment to communities affected by Covid-19 in South Ende District, Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province.

The distributed food packages comprised rice, eggs, cooking oil, instant noodles, granulated sugar, milk, and essential vitamins. Additionally, the weaving assistance packages included embroidery threads, cotton yarn, diazo salts, and AS-BO naphthol dyes to assist local weavers in maintaining their craft.

The primary beneficiaries of this program were female traditional weavers whose livelihoods were severely impacted by Covid-19 due to the complete disruption of craft sales, as well as underprivileged households spread across 12 urban villages (kelurahan) in Ende Regency. Local residents received the aid with overwhelming enthusiasm and gratitude, particularly given their considerable distance from urban centers, which had previously limited their access to humanitarian relief.

The field distribution was carried out in close collaboration with local social activist Hakim Sukerman. During the handover, he expressed his sincere gratitude to YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management: "We extend our profound thanks to YIIM and PT Insight Investment Management for delivering such meaningful assistance to our residents. The community is deeply grateful, and we hope this will effectively revitalize the economic resilience of the women weavers here."

Buddy Cahaya, representing PT Insight Investments Management, emphasized the urgency of social solidarity: "During this challenging pandemic, our foremost priority is swift responsiveness to assist fellow citizens, ensuring they have adequate sustenance while helping small businesses keep their doors open. This allows the grassroots economy to stay afloat despite unprecedented hardships. We sincerely hope our nation recovers swiftly from this pandemic."

This humanitarian initiative directly aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 2: Zero Hunger and Sustainable Food Security, addressing the heightened risk of food vulnerability across the archipelago caused by the prolonged health crisis.

Through this continuous endeavor, YIIM remains committed to mobilizing civic participation and community resilience to mitigate the impacts of Covid-19 under the enduring spirit of mutual cooperation and compassionate sharing.
