The Indonesian Inspiring Development Foundation (YIIM) together with PT. Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), on Monday, April 25, 2022, once again held a series of Blessed Ramadhan events. On this occasion, the event was held in the yard of the Pelangi Semesta Alam Kindergarten (TK) school in Sumur Batu, Bantar Gebang District, Bekasi.

Activities carried out in this event included the distribution of 50 assistance packages containing basic food items, prayer equipment supplies, iftar packages, and takjil. The basic food package contained sugar, cooking oil, sardines, instant noodles, syrup bottles, and rice. Furthermore, the prayer equipment package contained a sarong, a prayer mat, and a mukena. Then, in addition to this assistance, there was also a free haircut activity for the elderly and children among the scavenger residents. The event was also attended by 50 children and around 90 parents.

Also present from PT. Insight Investments Management were Mr. Suluh T Rahardjo and Mr. Andrean Malta, along with the marketing and communications team of PT. Insight Investments Management. This event is a routine event held by YIIM together with INSIGHT to give meaning to Ramadhan by sharing and bringing happiness to less fortunate brothers and sisters. Although not all places can be reached, at least YIIM and INSIGHT believe that the selected locations are sufficiently representative to hold the Blessed Ramadhan event. This event is also in line with government programs regarding the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal Number 2 to prevent hunger.

In his remarks, Mr. Suluh T Rahardjo representing INSIGHT conveyed, “We are grateful to be able to share in the Blessed Ramadhan event, hopefully this event can help the fathers, mothers, and siblings in the Bantar Gebang TPST environment, and hopefully more people will be inspired to share with others. We from PT. Insight through a social program together with YIIM strive to help so that we can provide benefits to the community.”

Furthermore, from the YIIM representative, Mr. Chrisbiantoro as the chairman of the board conveyed, “YIIM as a partner of PT. Insight Investments Management is proud that through this program we can share with the community and spread inspiration to continue doing good and sharing with others.”

Meanwhile, a representative from the local community, Mr. Bagong Suyoto, conveyed, “Residents here almost all work as scavengers to make a living for their daily needs, even though the income is not much, but we are sufficient. And, we are very grateful to YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management who have distributed this assistance to us. This assistance truly helps us a lot, especially during this Ramadhan month.”

This event will continue at several other locations in the JABODETABEK area to give meaning to the spirit of a Blessed Ramadhan by continuing to do good and spreading inspiration for virtue. YIIM is open and will continue to open itself to all support and assistance so that more people can be helped.
