On February 22, 2021, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), supported by its primary partner PT Insight Investments Management, conducted a humanitarian outreach program to alleviate the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. This social assistance was specifically dedicated to the elderly community—a vulnerable demographic averaging 65 years of age and older.

The elderly beneficiaries reside at the Pondok Lansia Berdikari nursing home in Tapos Village, Tigaraksa District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. The humanitarian relief package comprised essential food provisions—including rice, eggs, granulated sugar, cooking oil, wheat flour, coffee, nutritional milk, canned sardines, and instant noodles—along with adult diapers, a digital blood glucose monitoring kit, and daily household sanitary products, amounting to a total value of IDR 7,500,000.

Pondok Lansia Berdikari currently shelters 30 elderly residents, comprising 18 women and 12 men. Many residents were referred by the local social services office after being discovered abandoned on the streets without family support. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the nursing home faced severe operational challenges as routine individual donations declined significantly.

This emergency relief effort directly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 1: No Poverty and SDG 2: Zero Hunger.

During the aid presentation, the Chairman of Yayasan Pondok Lansia Berdikari, Mohamad Sholeh, expressed heartfelt gratitude: "We are deeply grateful to Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun and PT Insight Investments Management for their compassion toward our elderly residents. May this donation bring abundant blessings to all."

Sholeh reaffirmed his institution’s enduring dedication: "While donor contributions have dropped compared to pre-pandemic times, we remain optimistic and fully dedicated to ensuring these seniors receive the highest quality of compassionate care."

In addition to daily nutritional provisions, Pondok Lansia Berdikari requires charitable support to complete the structural construction of its senior dormitory, which currently remains unfinished.
