On Sunday, December 25, 2022, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), funded medical doctor teams and health services for a community mass circumcision program dedicated to orphans, underprivileged children, and local residents. The charitable health drive was organized by the Youth Association of the Al Insan Grand Mosque in South Jakarta.

This healthcare campaign represents an implementation of YIIM's Social Humanitarian and Religious Program, fulfilling the corporate social responsibility (CSR) mandate of PT INSIGHT entrusted to YIIM. The event directly advances the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being for All at All Ages) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

Hosted in the Multipurpose Hall of Al Insan Grand Mosque on Jl. Patal Senayan 1, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta, activities began at 06:00 WIB. Morning rain showers did not diminish the spirits of participating children and parents arriving for re-registration. In total, 73 boys aged 2 to 13 years old benefited from this complimentary medical circumcision program.

The ceremony was attended by Isnaeni Setiawan, CSR Coordinator of PT INSIGHT, alongside Ratih Puspita representing YIIM's program implementation team. Following Qur'anic recitations, the Chairman of the Mosque Welfare Board (Badan Kesejahteraan Masjid / BKM) of Al Insan Grand Mosque, Ari Kuncoro, opened the proceedings: "This mass circumcision is an annual tradition at Al Insan Grand Mosque dedicated to underserved households and orphans. We convey our sincerest gratitude to INSIGHT and YIIM for championing this initiative and entrusting their benevolent resources to our community. May this service bring manifold blessings to all participants, and may our donors be rewarded abundantly for their generosity today."

Representing PT INSIGHT, CSR Coordinator Isnaeni Setiawan shared the corporate vision inspiring the program: "On behalf of PT Insight Investments Management, we are privileged to witness the tremendous enthusiasm of the children and mothers who turned out during their school holiday despite the rainy weather. This initiative is backed by INSIGHT's ethos of transforming financial investments into tangible social impact. Returns generated with our mutual fund investors are deployed back into high-impact social initiatives, including micro-enterprise empowerment and public health drives for disadvantaged communities. The broader public can also contribute directly through our foundation partner, YIIM. We are grateful for this opportunity to do good and hope INSIGHT can continue expanding its positive footprint to foster inclusive prosperity."

The ceremonial segment concluded with the symbolic handover of assistance from Isnaeni Setiawan to Ari Kuncoro, making way for medical procedures.

The circumcisions were performed through a medical collaboration involving certified practitioners from Nayla Home Care and Al-Malik Home Care & Khitan Center, under the clinical oversight of RSUD Kebayoran Lama Regional Hospital. The teams employed modern "super ring" technology, celebrated for its rapid application, minimized discomfort, and low risk of postoperative bleeding. To maintain clinical hygiene and comfort, 11 dedicated private medical booths were operated. Upon completing the procedure, participants received medications and celebratory goodie bags.

The personal impact was voiced by beneficiary Rizky Akbar and his father, Khairudin. Working as an informal laborer without steady employment, Khairudin felt relieved, explaining that his son had long wished to be circumcised but had been held back by family financial hardship. The program by YIIM and INSIGHT lifted a heavy financial load, enabling his family to fulfill an important cultural and health milestone.

YIIM alongside INSIGHT remains committed to spreading social inspiration throughout Indonesia. As a public non-profit entity, YIIM welcomes philanthropic partnerships, ensuring every contribution is managed with fidelity and channeled straight to deserving recipients.

Salam Inspirasi!
