Humanitarian Food Relief Partnership with Madura United FC and Yayasan Menemani
YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management collaborated with Madura United FC and Yayasan Menemani to distribute hundreds of grocery aid packages to vulnerable communities affected by the pandemic in Jakarta and Madura.

Throughout the month of May until June 4, 2020, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) sustained its humanitarian relief efforts to support vulnerable populations severely impacted by the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
In this humanitarian action, YIIM joined hands with its primary corporate partner, PT Insight Investments Management, channeling emergency relief through collaboration with the management of Madura United FC football club and Yayasan Menemani in Jakarta.
Assistance delivered via Yayasan Menemani in Jakarta took the form of ready-to-eat meal distributions across Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek). Under the campaign hashtag #GotongRoyongPanganUntukSesama, nutritious cooked meals were distributed to low-income families and informal workers economically paralyzed by the pandemic.
YIIM contributed a grant of Rp 5,000,000 (five million rupiah) to Yayasan Menemani, which was pooled with additional collective funds mobilized by the foundation to support impoverished urban communities.
This initiative concentrated on the procurement and systematic distribution of ready-to-eat meals and essential staple groceries (sembako) for communities enduring hardship under COVID-19 and Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in Jakarta and surrounding areas.
Concurrently, YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management extended extensive humanitarian assistance to residents of Madura Island in East Java by partnering with the management of Madura United FC.
YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management each donated Rp 50,000,000 (fifty million rupiah), totaling Rp 100,000,000, which was pooled with donations mobilized by Madura United FC. The funds were disbursed to assist underprivileged families across Madura Island, spanning Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, and Sumenep regencies.
The distributed relief packages contained staple necessities including rice, flour, and cooking oil, directly reaching approximately 2,500 beneficiary families across Madura.
Chairman of the YIIM Board, Chrisbiantoro, affirmed, “This social aid embodies YIIM’s resolute commitment to easing the public’s economic burden during this pandemic crisis. We take immense pride in locking arms with partners to champion the noble spirit of mutual cooperation: people helping people.”
Meanwhile, PT Insight Investments Management representative Budy Cahaya stated, “This relief action demonstrates that compassionate action pursued through solidarity can foster a widespread social movement with direct positive impact, enabling communities to withstand the pandemic.”
Throughout the course of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, YIIM has steadfastly contributed to nationwide solidarity, delivering relief missions to uplift struggling communities.
YIIM further expresses hope that the pandemic will subside soon, allowing flagship social entrepreneurship workshops and economic empowerment initiatives to resume at full capacity.
May communities resume daily activities safely and productively, while maintaining disciplined adherence to health guidelines: wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining physical distance, and avoiding crowded gatherings.
Salam Inspirasi!
