The Indonesian Inspirational Development Foundation (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), on Thursday, April 28, 2022, distributed Ramadhan iftar packages, free haircuts, and AC service to orphans, the underprivileged (dhuafa), and the community around Al Firdausy Mosque located at Jalan Mungur Indah, Desa Rawakalong, Kecamatan Gunung Sindur, Kabupaten Bogor, West Java Province.

The Ramadhan activities consisted of 200 iftar packages containing rice boxes and takjil, free haircuts for 14 orphans and underprivileged children, and cleaning of 3 AC units at the mosque. The 200 iftar packages were distributed to orphans, underprivileged residents, mosque caretakers (marbot), mosque administrators, and the surrounding community.

This event aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, specifically SDG Number 2 regarding Zero Hunger.

Present at the event were the Treasurer of the Board of the Indonesian Inspirational Development Foundation, Mrs. Riccana Rosita, along with her staff. Also present were the host, Ustad Hendi Abdullah, Chairman of the Board of Al Firdausy Mosque Gunung Sindur, and Mr. H. Sahid, Chairman of the Prosperity Council of Al Firdausy Mosque Gunung Sindur. The event was attended by 15 orphans and underprivileged individuals, 10 administrators, and members of the surrounding community. The event began with speeches from representatives of each institution, a Quran recitation completion (khataman), and a communal iftar.

On that occasion, Mr. Suluh Rahardjo Tripambudi, Coordinator of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at PT Insight Investments Management, stated:

“The Ramadhan blessing assistance program in the form of iftar packages for the surrounding community and administrators or caretakers of Al Firdausy Mosque, accompanied by free haircuts and free mosque AC cleaning, is part of the social action program implemented during the Ramadhan month by PT Insight Investments Management together with YIIM, in line with our company’s tagline ‘Transforming Investment To Social Impact’. We hope that with this assistance, it can at least alleviate the burden and be beneficial for the surrounding community.”

In her speech, Mrs. Riccana Rosita, Treasurer of the Board of the Indonesian Inspirational Development Foundation, stated:

“Honorable congregation, administrators, and caretakers of Al Firdausy Mosque. Thank you for the warm welcome at this event. The Ramadhan blessing assistance program is part of a series of programs organized by YIIM with the support of PT Insight Investments Management. We hope that this assistance can bring blessings and benefits to the surrounding residents and mosque administrators.”

Meanwhile, Ustad Hendi Abdullah, Chairman of the Board of Al Firdausy Mosque, in his speech expressed gratitude and thanks for the organization of this Ramadhan blessing assistance event.

“Thank you to the Indonesian Inspirational Development Foundation and PT Insight Investments Management for providing assistance in the form of iftar packages, free haircuts, and free mosque AC cleaning to the congregation of Al Firdausy Mosque. We hope that this assistance can provide benefits and blessings. Amen.”

The Ramadhan Blessing Assistance Program is a series of programs for the 2022 Ramadhan month with the tagline “Blessed Ramadhan, Let’s Inspire Together” and is planned to be held in 6 (six) locations in the Jabodetabek area, namely South Jakarta, Depok, Bekasi, Bogor Regency, South Tangerang, and Tangerang Regency. Various forms of activities to be carried out include; sharing iftar packages, takjil, basic necessities, worship equipment, free AC cleaning and service at mosques and orphanages, and free haircuts.

YIIM, as a non-profit organization, is open to support and cooperation with any party so that more people can benefit from YIIM’s programs and the wider inspiration YIIM can spread to help build Indonesia.
