On Sunday, December 17, 2023, the Foundation for Inspiring Indonesia’s Development (YIIM), in collaboration with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), sponsored professional medical teams and physician services for a mass circumcision drive serving orphans, underprivileged families, and the general public, organized by the Mosque Welfare Board (BKM) of Al Insan Grand Mosque in Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.

This social service forms an integral part of YIIM’s Humanitarian and Religious Social Pillar, strictly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—notably SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Furthermore, this initiative demonstrates the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR/TJSL) mandate of PT INSIGHT entrusted through YIIM to assist disadvantaged children across Kebayoran Lama District.

The event commenced at 08:30 WIB in the Multipurpose Hall of Al Insan Grand Mosque on Jl. Patal Senayan 1, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. Prior to the procedures, participants completed re-registration. A total of 47 children aged 2 to 13 years old benefited from this complimentary medical outreach. The event was attended by PT INSIGHT representative Mr. Isnaeni Setiawan, CSR Coordinator. Proceedings opened solemnly with Quranic recitations, followed by remarks from Mr. Ari Kuncoro, Chairman of BKM Al Insan Grand Mosque.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Ari Kuncoro stated: “This mass circumcision is an annual program organized by Al Insan Grand Mosque to serve underprivileged families and orphans in our neighborhood. We extend our immense gratitude to INSIGHT and YIIM for their continuous sponsorship and for channeling their blessings through our community. May this activity provide lasting health benefits for the young boys, and may our benevolent donors be granted abundant rewards for their kindness.”

Representing the corporate sponsor, Mr. Isnaeni Setiawan noted in his speech: “On behalf of PT Insight Investments Management, I am deeply honored to attend this mass circumcision initiative at Al Insan Grand Mosque. This contribution stems from INSIGHT’s core identity as an asset management firm dedicated to transforming investments into tangible social impact. Healthcare is one of our priority CSR pillars developed in synergy with YIIM. We are thankful for this opportunity to extend social good, and we hope INSIGHT continues to generate positive impacts that foster welfare across wider communities.”

The surgical procedures were carried out seamlessly in collaboration with specialized clinical teams from Al-Malik Home Care & Khitan Center and Smart Khitan. The practitioners utilized the innovative ‘super ring’ clamp technique, renowned for its swift procedure time, elevated comfort, and minimized bleeding risks. A dedicated contingent of 25 certified healthcare professionals operated across 9 hygienic medical booths. Following the procedure, each child received post-care medications, an informational recovery guide, a celebratory gift bag, and a token of affection.

YIIM and INSIGHT remain steadfast in their commitment to spreading inspirational social goodwill across Indonesia, hoping that this charitable initiative encourages wider civic participation in mutual assistance and compassion.

Salam Inspirasi!
