Monitoring of Phase I Nutrition Post for Stunting Eradication in North Cipete
YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management conducted direct monitoring of Phase I Nutrition Post activities to tackle child stunting and malnutrition in Cipete Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), supported by its primary corporate partner PT Insight Investment Management, conducted direct monitoring for Phase I of the Nutrition Post (Pos Gizi) initiative implemented in Cipete Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta. Held from November 4 to 13, 2019, this nutrition post formed an integral part of a broader intervention across 5 (five) targeted urban villages selected through YIIM’s partnership with the Kebayoran Baru Community Health Center (Puskesmas) to eradicate stunting and child malnutrition.
Among the direct interventions delivered by YIIM was the Supplementary Feeding Program (PMT), formulated specifically for toddlers diagnosed with malnutrition or exhibiting stunting indicators. The nutritious meals were thoughtfully prepared and varied, featuring vegetable-infused tempeh nuggets, fresh melon juice, vegetable potato patties (perkedel), vegetable tempeh croquettes, guava juice, and a wide array of other wholesome supplementary dishes.
This field monitoring was conducted as an essential evaluation step to track the impact of the supplementary food assistance distributed by YIIM in close coordination with local nutrition post cadres across five designated areas in Kebayoran Baru District, including Cipete Utara.
The nutrition post represents an ongoing progression within YIIM’s social and humanitarian cluster, notably in public health improvement, following previously established partnerships between YIIM and Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) cadres across Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.
Below is the progress report from the Phase I evaluation assessing weight gain, height increase, and nutritional status improvements among toddler participants in the Star Class (Kelas Bintang) / Pos Gizi in Cipete Utara:
Child Weight Increase
Out of the 13 toddlers who attended consistently from the first session to the last, 8 children demonstrated measurable weight gain following the nutrition post intervention.
Child Height Increase
Out of the 13 toddlers who participated fully throughout the program, 12 children recorded notable height gains over the course of the nutritional support period.
Changes in Nutritional Status
Out of the 13 toddlers who completed all sessions, 7 children successfully achieved positive, upward transitions in their overall nutritional status classification.
