Between September 2020 and early November 2020, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), together with its core partner PT Insight Investments Management, orchestrated extensive nationwide humanitarian relief operations distributing essential groceries, masks, and vitamins across Indonesia.

The distributed food packages comprised basic daily necessities including rice, cooking oil, sugar, instant noodles, coffee, tea, biscuits, salt, eggs, and nutritious milk, enriched with multivitamin supplements to boost immunity and wellness amidst the ongoing Covid-19 health emergency.

This social assistance prioritized vulnerable families who had missed official government aid, underprivileged households, laid-off workers (PHK victims), and indigenous customary communities. To ensure accurate targeting and direct delivery, YIIM established close coordination with trusted local community partners.

This integrated humanitarian mission represents the steadfast commitment of YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management to ease socioeconomic burdens. The regional outreach encompassed:

  • 100 packages for indigenous Papuan families in Ifale Village, Sentani District, Papua Province;
  • 150 packages for indigenous Papuans in Wamena Kota District, Papua Province;
  • 100 packages for residents in Pulau-Pulau Batu District, South Nias Regency, North Sumatra Province;
  • 100 packages for villagers in Sigar Penjalin and Sigerongan Villages, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province;
  • Comprehensive relief for 16 children at Gloria Matahit Orphanage, Talaud Islands Regency, North Sulawesi, comprising food supplies (eggs, rice, cooking oil, sugar, noodles, milk, snacks), hygiene kits (shampoo, soap, detergent), first-aid and vitamin sets, school supplies (bags, notebooks, socks, rulers, pencil cases with contents), electric fans, and one month’s facility operational costs (electricity, water, and staff stipends);
  • 100 packages for Dayak indigenous communities in Tering Baru and Kalian Luar Villages, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province;
  • 573 packages for survivors of the earthquake, tsunami, and liquefaction in Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi Province;
  • 160 sets of daily clothing for frontline healthcare workers tending to Covid-19 patients at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital in Kemayoran, Jakarta;
  • 100 packages for members of the Talepud-Pujung Kaja-Sebatu Customary Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province;
  • 100 packages for community members across four designated rural villages, including Godang, Ngambarkulon, Ngambarwetan, Ngunut, Mbawang, and Pojok;
  • 150 packages for conflict survivors and human rights victims under the care of the Aceh Truth and Reconciliation Commission (KKR Aceh);
  • 100 packages for residents in North Wasile District, East Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province; and
  • 75 packages for families in Lembata and Ende Regencies, Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara Province.

YIIM Chairperson Chrisbiantoro underscored: "This comprehensive aid represents our continuous commitment to support and empower families impacted by Covid-19. We pray that this pandemic subsides swiftly, and that our nation recovers rapidly to resume normal daily activities."

Representing PT Insight Investments Management, Dwi Laksmi Anggita Sari added: "PT Insight is firmly committed to transforming investment into tangible social impact. We hope this humanitarian outreach provides real comfort, nutrition, and relief to our fellow citizens who need it most across the archipelago."

Prior to these initiatives, YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management had implemented a series of rapid Covid-19 relief efforts, including distributing 5,000 locally tailored cloth masks, 1,000 sets of certified personal protective equipment (PPE), vitamin supplements, and teaching internet data quotas for educators across 13 schools in Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek).
