Partnership Agreement Signing with Central Jakarta BAPAS and Entrepreneurship Seminar for Social Reintegration
YIIM, backed by CSR funding from PT Insight Investments Management, signed a cooperation agreement and conducted an entrepreneurship seminar with Central Jakarta BAPAS to equip correctional clients with independent business skills.

Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), alongside its main partner PT Insight Investment Management through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund, officially signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the Class I Central Jakarta Probation and Parole Center (BAPAS Kelas I Jakarta Pusat). This milestone event was paired with an empowering seminar entitled “Becoming a Successful Entrepreneur and a Role Model for Clients During Social Reintegration”.
The seminar brought together around 100 participants, comprising correctional clients, the Head of the Correctional Division at the DKI Jakarta Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Head of BAPAS Class I Central Jakarta and staff, alongside representatives from various community components supporting the correctional system.
Since 2015, YIIM and PT Insight Investment Management have actively partnered with probation and parole centers to equip correctional clients with essential vocational and entrepreneurial skills, facilitating their successful return to society.
Building on this long-standing and impactful partnership, YIIM and BAPAS Class I Central Jakarta formalized their commitment by ratifying a Cooperation Agreement to provide a structured, robust legal framework for future initiatives.
Correctional clients represent a key beneficiary group supported by YIIM and PT Insight Investment Management. In addition to correctional clients, YIIM and PT Insight routinely assist underprivileged communities, the unemployed, odd-job workers, vulnerable groups, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized demographics who meet specific criteria to join economic empowerment programs.
During the seminar presentation, Chairman of YIIM, Chrisbiantoro, encouraged the participants: “Correctional clients should never fear starting a new chapter in life equipped with entrepreneurial skills. Supported by PT Insight, YIIM is fully committed to ensuring that your social reintegration proceeds smoothly, while inspiring others to actively support this journey.”
The Head of the Correctional Division at the DKI Jakarta Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights also expressed high appreciation: “We are deeply grateful for this program. We hope an increasing number of BAPAS clients will have the opportunity to take part in such entrepreneurial training.”
Speaking separately, Suluh T. Rahardjo, representing PT Insight Investment Management, emphasized: “From every rupiah entrusted to PT Insight by our investors, we channel socially impactful contributions through our corporate CSR to benefit broader communities. This stands as our enduring social commitment.”
The attending correctional clients participated attentively throughout the seminar, demonstrating genuine enthusiasm to enroll in YIIM’s upcoming vocational empowerment batches.
To date, YIIM has developed five flagship economic empowerment tracks: barista coffee training, barbering, baking and culinary arts, AC cleaning and repair servicing, and creative screen printing.
Salam Inspirasi!
